Saturday 25 October 45 Hildebrand, Lady Elizabeth says she left Lord Howe’s Log book in the upper Library, at the right hand when you enter the room, & near the door: She is not sure whether it is in one of the lower Mahogany presses or in the glass press over it. Pray send a box of grapes if you have then to spare, but do not send so much as half the quantity you sent before as I am sorry to say half got Mouldy & decayed before they could be eaten --- they were packed in wet leaves which may have caused them to be more inclined to decay. I should be glad to have them sent Monday morning, if there is no difficulty. I shall be in Dublin Tuesday. Therefore put on the box “ To be kept in Dawson St. till called for.”--- Yours Catherine Sligo
