Hildebrand

I heard yesterday that Lord Glengall or some person at Westport, had had a letter from Lord Altamont, dated from Beyrout [Beireuth].--- I wish particularly to know as soon as I can whether any letter has been received from him from Beyrout, as I have seen in the newspapers an account of an accident that happened on the Black Sea, & which caused the Constantinople Packet to return to Constantinople instead of going on to Trebisond. My last letter was written at Constantinople.

Let me know this as soon as you can & direct to Bushy Park Enniskerry if you send off your letter next Wednesday morning, as I am going to stay at Bushy until Thursday.

Lady Louise is going on well, & her little girl is healthy

Yours

H Catherine Sligo
