Clontarf Sunday August 17thHildebrandI heard yesterday that Lord Glengall or some person at Westport, had had a letter from Lord Altamont, dated from Beyrout [Beireuth].--- I wish particularly to know as soon as I can whether any letter has been received from him from Beyrout, as I have seen in the newspapers an account of an accident that happened on the Black Sea, & which caused the Constantinople Packet to return to Constantinople instead of going on to Trebisond. My last letter was written at Constantinople.Let me know this as soon as you can & direct to Bushy Park Enniskerry if you send off your letter next Wednesday morning, as I am going to stay at Bushy until Thursday.Lady Louise is going on well, & her little girl is healthy Yours H Catherine Sligo
